Service staff can put on more smile, be more friendly and efficient, especially at breakfast buffet.Insufficient cultery, cups and slow refill of food during morning peak.

I had stayed at another Rama property in the past, and that is why I chose this one. If you want to be in the middle of Kuta, and/or close to the airport, the location is great. If you want a quiet location, maybe it's not for you. However, the hotel grounds are serene, so noise is not a problem. OK for families or couples. Rooms are always clean, service is great. Showing some signs of age in the rooms, but nothing major and everything works. I would have no regrets about staying there again, unless, of course, I want to be on a more tranquil location, in general. My main complaint is that, nearly anywhere in Kuta, their are street hawkers waiting outside your hotel to claim they are with the hotel's tour guide service!

We booked 2 deluxe rooms (garden-view) from 30 Sept to 2 October 2008. When we arrived at the hotel around 3.30 p.m., our room was still not ready for us to check into so we had to pretend to go shopping until the room was ready for us, which was past 11 p.m. that night (30 Sept). The duty manager, Jaya Wisesa, was kind and diplomatic enough to compensate us for the waiting time with 4 complimentary set dinners. As soon as we entered the rooms, we had to ask for a change of bedsheets as the sheets were soiled with yellowish stains. The room looks like the housekeeping staff can't cope with cleaning up the rooms in time for the next guest to check into. However, the room decor is nice, comfortable beds, large room size and definitely value for money. The reception staff are all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The biggest plus factor is that the location is very central to where all the action is so I will definitely stay here again.

Please find below my rating. I didn't put 10 because there is always room for more, for better, for nicer... Nevertheless, I must say that I was impressed...was really very nice and I will definitely come back to Ramayana Resort & Spa with my next occasion...to stay longer... If i would of known I would have stayed for the whole period of my vacation, not only for one day... Even if I have stayed for one day only, I hope that my rating wold help future travellers to endulge and enjoy the Ramayana...

There was a lot of construction going on at the time, lying by the pool listening to skill saws etc wasn’t very relaxing!! Maybe a reduced rate while under construction would have been some kind of compensation.

The location is great, few minutes walk to Kuta beach, water bom, discovery mall and all restaurants and activities are near by. In general the hotel is cozy and comfortable, it has the Indonesian touch and the staff is very friendly. The swimming pools are small but nice except for the renovation work around the swimming pool which was disturbing. The restaurants and the sports bar are great and give different options for dinning. The breakfast is not wow but its OK. In general the hotel is clean but I noticed some baby cockroaches in the bathroom and some in the breakfast area. I’ve stayed in better hotels but if I’m going back to Bali I don’t mind staying in Ramayana again

We loved staying at the hotel. The spa was great. The breakfast buffet was very good, also, and the hotel was located in the midst of a shopping area.

The staff were very kind, we very much enjoyed our stay there between the two swimming pools, the fish pond and the afternoon tea lounge. Although our baby was sick, we were very happy to have a clinic onsite with doctors that were very caring. We would happily return to this hotel.

The Hotel is great place to stay - we certainly enjoyed it! The Room Service can be improved to respond little faster.

Great location - central Kuta w shopping on doorstep plus all the restaurants etc. Good massage. Net expensive.

Hotel staff were painting some rooms next to ours and the paint smell was horrible. I tried to complain this to the front office and he totally ignored me.

My Comment For Hotel Ramayana : First of all, I really satisfied with all your service to me and my husband especially for your staff. They are very Kindness, Helpful, friendly. When my package was broken, they help me find box and tape to make a new package. Hope you will better in a future. Oh ya… when I stay in your hotel, my refrigerator was broken. Maybe the Hotel management must be re-new or check all your room facility per month for guest satisfaction ( Because my package was broken by water from refrigerator). My Comment For BaliHotel : Your service company is the best and trustworthy…… When I confused to find hotel in Bali, you are very helpful to give me information a good hotel there. Also your price….very achievable. Hope in a future you will have cooperation with more hotels in Bali. Thanks for Mr. Dian, Ms. Dini especially. THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD AND THE STAFF WAS VERY VERY FRIENDLY. I UNDERSTAND THAT YOUNG JAPANESE GUESTS NEED SOME FREEDOM...HOWEVER THE SECURITY DID NOTHING TO PREVENT THE NOISE AND DISTURBANCE AFTER 01.00 AM.... AFTER MY RESERVATION FOR A PICKUP FROM AIRPORT AFTER ARRIVAL......NOBODY WAS AT THE AIRPORT...AFTER MY COMPLAINT THE RECEPTION TOLD ME THAT BALIHOTEL DID NOT INFORM RAMAYANA HOTEL-RESORT ABOUT THE PICKUP FROM THE AIRPORT.......

It was a wonderful stay,It was really a great time.

We will certainly recommend you to our friends and would love to come back for another stay in the future.

On the first night i stay at the standard room, the air-con is liking and i can heard noise from the other rooms. not to mentioned, the standard room is small and shouldn't put the price $138.00 per night, that is the same price with the superior room that i stay the next day as i request from the reception i want to changed the room. The price is okey, but your service need to improved. And the cleanliness need to improved more. The receptionist need to be more friendly and helpful especially during the night.

Excellent hotel and good value for money all round - does exactly what it says on the tin. Slight problem with the airport pick up and finding my reservation due to having gone through BaliHotels.com which was irritating - but apart from that the stay was excellent.

I like hotel with facility such as fitness center and sauna, and children play room (with any educational toys).

The staff that served myself and my family were fantastic, especially Jay & Susie. The location is perfect and convenient, especially for the family who wants to be in the heart of the kuta entertainment area ie Waterbom, Restaurants etc and also right next door to all the shopping areas in Bali. I do think the room service could be enhanced by providing toilet cleaning equipment and a broom in each room so guests could do a bit of cleaning up themselves instead of waiting for the next morning when the room got cleaned. We will definately stay at the Ramayana on our next Bali holiday.

A very nice hotel, and were it not for the teeming baby roaches in the drawers and stationery, we’d stay there again. But until this problem is taken care of, we don’t recommend it. There were lots of roaches in the drawers in the rooms.

Very good ambience. Tourist information could be made available in the rooms.

Everything was great with the hotel.
