I stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed it alot. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always so happy. Great location with easy walking distance to everywhere. Bathrooms very small but great value for money. Pool is fantastic also. Would really recommend the Oasis.

As the hotel was full, there was a lot of noise by the pool late at night and early morning. The hotel staff did not deal with it and on several occaisions guests including myself went out and told the noisy guests to quiet down. No staff ever dealt with it. This was the only real blemish during our time.

An OK stay if you are planning to spend most of your time out and about.
The rooms are definitely a little austere; almost spartan considering what else is on offer out there. Not a place to "come home" to at the end of a long tourist day, but serves its purpose. The biggest questionmark would have to be value-for-money.
However, if you want to be central and not pay over the rates demanded by some of the up-market places, this could be the place of choice.

Courteous and helpful staff. The only drawback is the narrow driveway which makes it very difficult if not impossible for a Kijang to go in.

Yes we found cockroach in bathroom, and the aircon didn't work properly and leaked. Water damage on ceiling. Diasappointing so we stayed at another hotel for the remaining 3 days of our Bali trip

A fairly good option to consider if you are not exactly looking for luxury, but something that offers good value and is at a convenient location...the hotel has everything to make your stay comfortable.. ..a very appropriate location(kuta, where most of the action is and from where all other places are easily accesibe), clean & comfortable rooms, polite and friendly staff who can communicate in english, decent enuff facilities (a spa, a bar and a swimming pool)...but i guess the USP of the hotel is its ultra-cool swimming pool which is surrounded by the rooms..u can just walk out of ur room, lay in the pool for some time, order some beer from the bar and just chill...and ideal way to relax if u are too tired of going outside..overall, it was a good experience.

not worth the price, too far from beach, simple room not very clean, except the swimming pool very nice; very strange, local call from hotel is not free, very expensive, rupiah 2000 for resident call, rupiah 5000 for mobile call. very funny.

We have seen rats running at the cafe place during breakfast time. Kindly improve the cleanliness around the hotel area, also improve the breakfast menu.

I am very enjoyed I stay in The oasis . thank you very much .. I had to order room service he is very service and on lunch time the waitress she very friendly also. I would like to comment the front office when i checked out in early morning 27/1/08 ..they don't have porter to help me to carry the bag or some thing because I buy many thing and many bag about 5 bags nobody to help me I must to carry from my room to in front of the hotel nobody to assist me and wait for taxi about 15 minute not yet and then there is one person I think he is the staff of the hotel he ware uniform the brown color he ask me for the taxi and call the taxi for me that is the mr...at tour counter ( buudy tour) for the tour I am very happy with my tour with mr. kadhe Iat buddy tour he very take care me thank you very much for him but some thing in the hotel are different form my friend told me.

Other than the location which is right smack, though a bit secluded, I have no other positive comments about the hotel. The hotel rate was somewhat moderately expensive for an almost in a bad repair state. Toilet drainage was clogged, TV set was 14 inches (or was it 16'? ) too small for a clear vision, mounted high up on the ceiling. The rate upon checkup was more expensive than the rate displayed in the internet. I was lucky that I have bought with me a printed copy of the internet rate and that saved me the day. It really spoiled my day upon checking out because of having to haggle and dealt with different price rate. The USD exchange rate used was a bit on the high side, to my disadvantage, compared to the two other hotels I have stayed two nights before.
