The grounds were nice and our room was a good size. The pool was very deep, and in no way suitable for children. It seemed to be a mostly older European clientele who weren't friendly or enthusiastic holiday makers. Our room smelled constantly and wasn't always cleaned properly, despite this being a beautiful venue. We spent 2 days without a working toilet and still paid a full bill at the end. It was not located in central Sanur, and was located on the main busy road. There was a back entrance for beach access a short walk. Sanur beaches not so great, but then I live in Oz with the best beaches in the world. Sunar is a quieter more expensive version of Legian, where there is better and much cheaper accomadation. Was glad to leave.

The resort is small and inward-looking but truly lovely. It is quiet, its landscape lush and pool comfortable. Suitable if you do not care to be on the beach. Nevertheless, the beach is just about 100 meters away. This is the public end of the beach, so it is lively with stalls selling stuff and restaurants. My bathroom needed a good scrubbing though.

Sri Phala is a very quiet, peaceful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and large and all rooms are surrounded by beautiful gardens. The pool and restaurant are lovely. It is situated on a main road yet set right back and once inside you would never know. You are able to walk out the back gate, down a short alley and street to the beach. Its only a five minute walk! A great place to stay if its peace and quiet you are looking for with friendly helpful staff.

First of all we drawn by the place because of nice looking picture of their swimming pool, but please be advise it is not as big as the picture. It is nice place to hang out and relax nonetheless.

What a beautiful place. The setting is simply beautiful and one feels as though they are well in the jungles of Bali. The villas are fantastic, kept clean and well worth the money. They are a truly unique experience and offer a quiet oasis from the bustling streets of Bali. The staff are all very friendly and will do anything to help - even run to the local shop to buy a soccer ball! The pool is small yet enjoyable. There are only a small number of villas and bungalows so there is no issue of over crowding and one feels quite secluded. The breakfast menu is only small, perhaps due to the small number of guests it caters for, yet the food is still of high standard. Would love to stay here on the next visit to Bali!

There are some constructions going on just at the entrance of the hotel, so it's a bit noisy and messy when you arrive. The hotel is nice, very beautiful garden and rooms and the staff is very friendly and helpful but I found the location horrible, the beach is ugly and dirty and the roads around are too big, noisy and busy. I didn't like this side of Sanur at all, there is really nothing to do there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sri Phala. The staff were all wonderful - from the girls in the fabulous spa, to the restaurant staff, to the gardener!
