We were fully satisfied with our accomodation (ground floor of a villa with a beautiful outside bathroom) and the staff is great, smiling, very help ful. Discording factors : - Every night we had to ask for the staff to spray the bedroom for mosquitoes. Once it was done, there was no problem at all but we should not have to ask for it, the hotel should do it systematically at the end of the day. - The restaurant on the street, somewhat noisy and the atmosphere is more the one of a night bar than a restaurant. - The pool is fine but there's something missing for a better atmosphere...

This is second time my friends and i have stayed at the Bali Ayu and we love it. The staff are friendly and it is away from the down town rat race of Seminyak yet close enough to everything. Will definitely be staying there again in the future. Thank you

Lighting in the whole villa is too dim, should have additional lighting points. The pool is nice & well maintained. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool Villa and for the cost I cannot fault it. Location was a little far out for the younger members but transport was always available outside Hotel. Would only stay in a villa if visiting again. Staff always friendly and happy to help with enquiries. Thankyou for a great stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Only criticism was that the windows wouldn't shut and the apartment we stayed in needed upgrading; it was very shabby.

Every time that I come back to Bali with my partner I will be staying at the Bali Ayu. I feel it’s a bit out of the way to bring children, but fantastic for a relaxing holiday. Your staff are were wonderful, and made our stay that more special. I will see you again !!!

The pool villas are beatifuly set up, very well appointed and wonderfully private. The standard of furnishings and decor was excellent. The inviting pool was much larger than I expected and set in its own private oacis right next to my room. I had a great stay and it was great to share time with my family who stayed in the completely seperate appartment on the upper level. The bathroom in my villa was amazing- like something out of a james Bond film.

i stayed in the 1 bedroom pool villa with my wife and it was great. the room and pool is clean and it also includes a large refrigerator, dining table, kitchen, tv, dvd player, 5.1 sound system and a safety box. the spa is also considered cheap wit a lot of attractive packages. but when we first arrived at around 1300, the hotel told us that we cannot check in because the previous guest requested a late checkout. so they gave us a smaller and cheaper room to stay while the guest checkout. we were told that the room will be ready by 1830. this is very unprofessional of the hotel and they should move the guest to the other room and let us checkin, but they didn't. so we changed our plan, rent a motorbike and went to tanah lot and jimbaran and told the hotel staff we will be back at 1930 and the room better be ready. then after we arrived at around 2000, the room was still not ready and the guest was just checking out. i figured maybe the hotel told the guest they can stay until 2000 and charge them for late checkout or half day stay and i still need to pay the full rate. but then the manager gave us a complimentary dinner that is much more cheaper than what i have to pay for the room and what the previous guest paid for their late checkout. this will be very bad for the hotel reputation because in my opinion, the hotel is very nice and i wouldn't mind staying there again. so apart from this bad service from some of their staff, i still recommend this hotel to couples or family for their holiday in bali.

We loved the Bali Ayu, stayed ina pool villa for 4 days. No one was in the top half of the villa, which was great, if there had been, and the 2 of you had conflicting schedules, this might be noisy, or annoying, as you would be sharing the one plunge pool, and the (very basic) kitchen facilities. They cleaned the room every day, and left fresh towels. The outside bathroom was fine, seems this is the Bali "style", mosquitoes were not a major problem. We did purchase one of those plug in repellents for around a dollar, but didn't end up using it. Few minor problems in the room, which they were super quick to fix. The main pool in the hotel did not seem as clean and nice as our private one, and we only used it the once. Also our villa was quite a walk from the reception, so if you were elderly or less mobile this might not suit you. (this was only the pool villa's though) My minor gripe was with the ladies who ran the spa, although we did have one lovely massage there, all other times we tried it was always booked out, and when we went they were quite unfriendly compared to all the other places we went to, and acted as if we were putting them out...No worries, so much competition all over the place, we ended up finding our BEST massage ever as a result. Lots of yummy waroungs and restaurants all around, and about $2 (Austr.) gets you anywhere you need to go in a little Bluebird cabs, they don't have dodgy metres. Sarong restaurant next door is worth checking out if you feel like a fancy dinner, or even just a cocktail in glamourous surrounds... Loved Bali Ayu, and its location, we'll be back!

The 1st night we had ants (seem to be everywhere in Bali) in the room and in the bed but we let the receptionist know the next morning and within mins the bed was changed and the room sprayed. No more problems after that. The staff make you feel so welcome and the villa we had was so much value for money. It is a little further out but only about $5.00 to Kuta in a taxi. If you like to escape the hustle and bustle then this is perfect. We loved going to Kuta and knowing we could come back here and relax in peace and tranquillity

The hotel is very nice. Quality can be improved. There were lots of ants everywhere. They must provide Insect sprays in every room. I would also advice everyone staying there to at least visit a bar - "Piano and Live music" situated nearby at least once. The international calls are very expensive in this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here! Thanks!

a great little hotel that has a good Bali atmosphere. It is good value for the money charged and I have happily recommended it to family and friends.

Service is fast when we wanted to change our room as it was a peak season and all rooms are not available. But the reception tried their best to accomadate us.I like the spacious room although the water pressure in the bathroom is slow. A good place to stay if one dont want to spend extras to stay at surrounding Villas. Love a restaurant called Cafe Bali. And thank you to BaliHotels.com for the prompt reservations.

Me & my family loved it so much!! Loved the private pool (we stayed in the pool villa) The room (& the bed!) was great and most importantly clean. Loved the 'alfresco' bathroom. Very spacious indeed. The breakast was simple. A choice of indonesian or american breakfast but who's complaining? Will definitely come back again. My kids been asking for it. But the next time, i will prepare myself with ant bait. Everytime we had our meal with the accompaniments of ants at the dining table. They came out the seconds food was placed on the table. Other than that, everything was perfect. For a price of US$66 per nite with breakast and a private pool, what more could you ask for. It's definitely value for money. We loved the spa too cos it's so cheap!!. No where else could we get a full body massage inclusive of scrub, milkbath, flower bath & facial for less than US$15! Thanks for a great holiday! Looking forward to the next one soon this year ;)

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. However, if you book online, I encourage you to bring printouts of confirmation, as they took quite awhile to acknowledge our confirmation and rate.

This is a lovely place with a great breakfast included. The spa is also very reasonable and professional; we had a couples Bali massage in a great location onsite. The room is simple but clean and the staff is great. Most of all the price is right and the place is great.

we had a wonderful stay there, the staff were so heplful, informative and polite, we actually recommended the hotel to 2 fellow english travellers that we later met in Ubud, they went to stay there too! We had an upstairs room that had a fantastic high ceiling, four poster bed, air con and tv - all for 25 dollars per night, oh and breakfast included! The staff cleaned the room every day and put fresh sheets on every day too.

Bali Ayu Hotel is very clean picturesque and the staff are very friendy and helpful. It has good facilities and an EXCELLENT Spa (Puspa) and is great value for money. We like to stay in Seminyak even though it's away from the main drag it has some lovely resturants and warungs within walking distance. We are repeat visitors and will continue to use and recommend Bali Ayu hotel.

I thought the Bali Ayu was a good palce to stay. The only thing i can suggest is to do something about the ants in the bathroom. They weret really much of a problem but were a little bit of a nuisance.

dirty sheets and pillow caes, kitchenette needing scrubbing, free shuttle bus to Kuta only at 2 times a day, and no return. Advertisement is misleading, simple but adequate, too quiet and far from the beach needing transport. Price was good but value for money, food could have been better, workshop by the Reception desk was noisy,

The hotel is located in a quiet area of Seminyak. There's lots of places to eat near by that will cater to most tastes and budgets (from 1 USD and up). They have a free shuttle bus in the morning to Kuta which is handy. The hotel spa is reasonably priced and the service was good. The hotel swimming pool was a nice area to relax, and htey have a nice bar there too. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if i get back to bali.
